Florida 2006
Right at the moment I am in Orlando, Florida with the Nash's. Training for this summer's nationals and selection meet. Where I will attempt and make a team for USA. Along with training, building contacts and possible ongoing projects is something that I am working on constantly. Designing FLASH movies, or websites for different people, or just plain working on my own site just for fun.
As for my daily routine here in Orlando I basically wake up whenever I really feel the need to actually get up. Go to the pool sometime around / before lunch where I swim/lift, then I come back to the house there is normally some debate about what the rest of the day shall hold.
As I thought about the look and feel I truely wanted I settled into the "white / blue" look I have grown to enjoy. While this particular site is one for more a demonstration of the skills that I am gradually acquiring. Currently they include picture manipulation, website organization, template design, Flash, script creation and database development.
As training for Nationals is coming around, with the further modification of my strokes, and further fine tuning of my technique, I feel like I am finally getting ready to swim fast. Just being here in Orlando with Mel Nash has helped let me have fun in something that has been more of a chore than a sport, in the past year or two. Not that I haven't had a good time, I just needed a change of scenery and almost exclusive concentration from a coach to help me relax and let myself train correctly.
